Biography:
Blade, also known as Eric Brooks, is a Marvel Comics character first appearing in The Tomb of Dracula #10 (July 1973). He is a Dhampir, a human with vampire-like abilities, born after his mother was attacked by a vampire while pregnant.
Blade possesses superhuman strength, speed, stamina, and senses. He also has a healing factor and is immune to vampire bites. He is a master martial artist and weapons expert, specializing in edged weapons, particularly swords.
Fueled by a lifelong vendetta against vampires, Blade dedicates his life to hunting and eliminating them. He is a complex character, often portrayed as brooding and determined, driven by his desire to avenge his mother and protect humanity from the undead.
